Over 50 years ago, Second Pres committed along with four other churches to establishing a senior living community in Waverly, OH - Bristol Village. Through the years, this has grown into the organization known as the National Church Residences.
At National Church Residences they believe every senior should be able to live a vibrant, healthy and independent life. That’s why it’s been our mission since 1961 to provide quality housing to serve the various and changing needs of seniors.
Founded on a faith-based mission, National Church Residences (then Ohio Church Residences) has grown from a flagship community, Bristol Village, in Waverly, Ohio, to become the nation’s largest non-profit provider of senior housing in the country. Today our organization owns and/or operates 340 senior housing communities in 25 states. And, we continue to add new communities and senior services every year.
In fact, there are 46,307 seniors who sleep each night under our rooftops or receive care and service through our senior housing communities, outreach programs or even in their own home. Our vision is to “Advance better living for all seniors, enabling them to remain home for life” and our 2,323 mission-driven staff members work every day to make this vision a reality.
Our Mission and Values
Our team of 2,323 staff members across 25 states aim to live out our mission and values every day, bringing quality care and service to 46,307 seniors who reside in our 340 senior living communities, and still more who are cared for in the community or comfort of their home.
