A native of western Pennsylvania, God called the Rev. Allison T. Bauer to Second Pres in Portsmouth, OH in April 2016.
After graduating from Grove City College in 2001, she earned her Master of Divinity degree from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary in 2005. From March 2006-March 2016, Allison served as the Pastor of the Frankfort Presbyterian Church in Hookstown, PA.
You can often find Pastor Allison at Shawnee State University Musical Theatre productions at the Vern Riffe Center; walking before the sun rises; reading; and acting as Commissioner of her family's fantasy football league.

A native of Portsmouth, Ohio, Stan received his Bachelor of Music degree from Kent State University, and Master of Music degree from Memphis State University, both in Vocal Performance. He received additional operatic training at Indiana University, where he was a student of the late Metropolitan Opera soprano, Margaret Harshaw.
Workman completed a second Master of Music degree in choral conducting from Kent State University and earned his Doctorate from the Ohio State University in 2010. While at Ohio State University, he appeared as tenor soloist with the Ohio State University Marching Band in their half-time show “A Night at the Opera” at the 2004 OSU/Michigan game, the Alamo Bowl, and on their annual tour. In 2014, he was invited to appear again with the OSUMB in their Summer ‘Picnic With the Pops” concert at the Columbus Bicentennial Pavilion in the downtown Columbus Commons.
In addition to serving as Second Presbyterian's Director of Music/Organist since 1992, Workman has served as cantor/organist for the Temple Beneh Abraham since 1993. He is the Artistic Director of the Vern Riffe Center for the Arts at Shawnee State University, Visiting Professor of Vocal and Choral Activities, and music director of the SSU Musical Theater program.
In 2017, Dr. Workman received the very first Mary Smalley Outstanding Arts Educator Award from the Portsmouth Area Arts Council for his many years of music education in the Portsmouth community. That same summer, Second also managed to pull off a grand SURPRISE 25th anniversary, honoring his years of musical excellence at the church.
